Every Mile, the Same Care…
Hot Denizcilik is an international yacht delivery company based in Türkiye. We provide yacht delivery with certified crews and passage consultancy across the Mediterranean, the Aegean, the Adriatic, Northern Europe, the European inland waterways and transatlantic routes. This is all we do, and all of our expertise is focused on it.
Over fifteen years in the field, we have completed more than 250 yacht deliveries. Behind that number lies a single principle: the boat we take over must reach her destination port in the same condition as on day one. We don’t transport your yacht — we sail her.
Our captain pool
Over the years, we have built a permanent pool of captains we work with. Every captain in this pool holds a commercial yacht master licence, with official certificates ranging from 149 GRT yacht master to unlimited yacht master. For us, however, a certificate is only the entry requirement. The captains on our team have handled different types of boats in different seasons and logged thousands of nautical miles on long passages.
For each delivery, we assign the captain best suited to the route, the type of boat and the seasonal conditions. We share the CVs of the assigned captain and crew with you before departure. You wouldn’t hand your boat over to a crew you don’t know.
Passing on experience
The senior captains on our team do more than sail; they also play an active role in training younger captains. We pass on skills such as manoeuvring, heavy-weather handling, passage planning and decision-making in a crisis out on the water, under real conditions. This approach keeps raising the standard of our captain pool and ensures the same quality on every delivery.
We offer the same opportunity to boat owners. Owners who wish to join the delivery sail alongside our captain, getting to know their boat and its systems and developing their own seamanship.
Consultancy
The preparation beforehand shapes the outcome as much as the delivery itself. We advise yacht owners, brokers and marina operators on route and seasonal planning, weather window assessment, paperwork and customs procedures, and crew sourcing. For owners who buy a boat abroad and go through the delivery process for the first time, this support is often the most critical stage.
Trust and transparency
A boat is often the fruit of years of hard work. That is why we leave no stage of the process uncertain. We present all cost items in writing at the quotation stage, log every hour of the voyage and report to you every day. When we reach the destination port, you receive not only the keys to your boat but also a complete record of the passage.
We do not charge for weather delays. Not putting to sea in adverse conditions is our choice, and we do not pass the cost of that choice on to our clients.
International standards
We operate within national legislation as well as international maritime regulations. We closely follow the relevant conventions, notably STCW, SOLAS, COLREG and MARPOL, together with their amendments. When preparing each passage plan, we separately assess the flag state legislation of the yacht being delivered, the local rules of every port of call, and Schengen and EU customs requirements. For us, following the rules is not an obligation but a natural part of the profession.
Our responsibility to the sea
We make our living from the sea; protecting it is not a choice for us but a debt. We comply fully with MARPOL and hand over our waste only to authorised port facilities. We take fuel efficiency into account in route planning and reduce emissions by making the most of sail and current on every possible passage. Our team is specially briefed on anchoring in sensitive marine areas, seagrass meadows and protected bays. The only thing we leave behind is a log of the passage.
A short hop or an ocean crossing, it’s all the same to us
Whether it’s a change of port or an Atlantic crossing, we apply the same checklists, make the same preparations and maintain the same standard. That is why our motto is more than just a sentence: Every mile, the same care.
